Overview
Tuesday Mixed/Open Competitive is a team entry league that in the past was just Tuesday Mixed league, but since 2019/20 seaso combines Mixed and Open teams in one section:
- Mixed teams must comply with the rules of Mixed curling (see "Rules" for more details) and they compete for the Al Poole Memorial Trophy which is awarded to the RHCC Mixed Club Champions at the end of the season.
- Open teams can be comprised of any combination of players, although we certainly encourage teams to include players of more than one gender.
Games are every Tuesday at 7:00 and 9:00 pm. The section is divided into 3 or 4 divisions, at the completion of each draw, some teams move up a division or down a division (exact formula is determined each year based on the number of teams). The season concludes with playoffs.

Snack Schedule
A long standing tradition of our league is to serve post-game snacks for all players. Team rotate to serve snacks, usually a couple of times over the course of the season.
The snack schedule 2025/26 will be posted after the beginning of the season, but another tradition is that the last year's champions serve snacks on the first night.
Play-offs
The structure of our play-off is a little more complicated that in regular leagues due to fact we essentially run open and Mixed play-offs in parallel. There is only one main event in the Mixed play-offs and losing teams are moved to Open play-offs and continue there.
