Tuesday Night Mixed/Open Competitive League

Overview

Tuesday Mixed/Open Competitive is a team entry league that combines Mixed and Open teams in one section. Mixed teams must comply with the rules of Mixed curling (see "Rules" for more details) and they compete for the Al Poole Memorial Trophy which is awarder to the RHCC Mixed Club Champions at the end of the season. Open teams can be comprised of any combination of players, although we certainly encourage teams to include players of more than one gender. Games are every Tuesday at 8:00 pm. The section is divided into 2 or more divisions, at the completion of each draw, some teams move up a division or down a division (exact formula is determined each year based on the number of teams). The season concludes with playoffs.

Note: For the season 2023/24 registration will be for teams only. We'll try to connect individuals or groups wishing to join the league but they'll have to form the team and then register.

Snack Schedule

A long standing tradtion of our league is to serve post-game snacks for all players. Team rotate to serve snacks, usually a couple of times over the course of the season.
