Overview
Tuesday Mixed/Open Competitive is a team entry league that in the past was just Tuesday Mixed league, but since the 2019/20 season we combine Mixed and Open teams in one section:
- Mixed teams must comply with the rules of Mixed curling (see "Rules" for more details) and they compete for the Al Poole Memorial Trophy which is awarded to the RHCC Mixed Club Champions at the end of the season.
- Open teams can be comprised of any combination of players, although we certainly encourage teams to include players of more than one gender.
Games are every Tuesday at 7pm and 9pm (in the schedule we list the game time a bit earlier). The section is divided into 4 divisions, at the completion of each draw, two teams in divisions B, C, D move up a division and two teams in divisions A, B, C move down a division (exact formula might change every year but with the full league of 24 teams it's unlikely to change). The season concludes with playoffs.

Snack Schedule
A long standing tradition of our league is to serve post-game snacks for all players. Team rotate to serve snacks, with 24 teams in the league that's just once a year when you serve snacks and 23 nights a year you are served. Pretty good deal!
The snack schedule is posted/update before beginning of each draw. The tradidion is that the last year's champions serve snacks on the first night.

Play-offs
The structure of our play-off will be simplified this year. No more running Open and Mixed play-offs in parallel. More details to come.
