TRY CURLING - Dec 13, 2025

A great opportunity to TRY CURLING.

Richmond Hill Curling Club is inviting our neighbours in the Richmond Hill and York Region area to come and TRY CURLING.  With the Olympics coming up, here is a chance for you to try a sport that you will see on your televisions in February. Curling is a wonderful social winter pastime and we would love to let you experience it first hand.  Let us introduce you to our facility and learn about the programs we have available to you get you started.  Experienced curlers will be on hand to provide instruction to and help you throw rocks at our houses.  They will also explain what effect sweeping has.

- $10 registration fee includes:
         - a non-alcoholic beverage 
         - a ballot into a draw for a free 5-week Learn to Curl program (Starting in January)
         - a $10 credit if you join one of our programs (valid until April 2026)

IMPORTANT - EACH PERSON PLANNING TO ATTEND THE OPEN HOUSE EVENT MUST COMPLETE THEIR OWN REGISTRATION FORM. 

This event is open to ages 16 to Senior.  
Participants under the age of 18, must include their age. 

What you need to bring:

IMPORTANT: Helmets are mandatory for all participants (any helmet can be used, bicycle, skate board, hockey, etc.). 

Please bring an extra pair of clean, dry running shoes (no street shoes allowed on ice) and dress comfortably.  We recommend gloves for comfort.

All other equipment required will be provided.

*It is important to put your correct email address. We will be sending out important information prior to December 13th as well as online waivers that each participant must fill out prior to arriving to the facility for your scheduled time slot.
